Zootopia AU (also known as Zootropolis AU) is a AU (Alternate Universe) within the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom. In the AU, Rapunzel, Merida, Hiccup and Jack Frost are characters featured in Disney's Zootopia. This could also be a sub-scenario for Hybrid AU.

About the AU[]

Spawning from fanart, this AU places the Big Four, and other such characters in the fandom, as the (human-like behaved) animals living in the city of Zootopia or are portrayed as characters from the titled film. They most commonly cast as human-animal hybrid versions of them, since they are commonly given the ears and tails of the animal characters that they are portrayed as in the AU.

The four can also help Judy and Nick with the ZPD's cases.

The Big Four[]

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III[]

Commonly for the Hijack pairing (along with Dagcup from time to time), has made the world a better place for both Vikings and Dragons, being the first to ride a dragon and is willing to try, strongly casts him as a male version of Judy Hopps. But with brown fur, to match the shade of his hair. He has also been cast as Nick Wilde, when Merida, Elsa or Astrid is Judy. He could even be portrayed as a type of reptile, to reference his connection to dragons.

Dragon Root can serve as the Night Howler flowers, as the root can make dragons go savage over it, much like how the flower made drug caused predators to turn savage and attack any nearby animals.

Jack Frost[]

For the Hijack, Jackunzel and Jelsa pairings, fans have cast Jack as the fox con artist, Nick Wilde. But with white fur instead of orange, making him a snow/Arctic fox and to make his "fur" match with his white hair. Jack can also be a type of winter or artic animal (like a Snow Wolf, Arctic Fox or a Polar Bear) living in the Tundratown district of Zootopia.

Merida DunBroch[]

For the Mericcup pairing, Merida is portrayed as Judy Hopps. While her red hair could have her as a female version of Nick Wilde. She can also be cast as one of the Bears that lives in Zootopia, as she is sometimes portrayed as one for her beast self in Beauty and the Beast AU and as a human-bear hybrid in Hybrid AU.

Rapunzel Corona[]

Hanging onto her dream, blackmailing a man into helping her - with an item - and becoming close with him, casts Rapunzel as Officer Judy Hopps; with Flynn or Jack as Nick Wilde. She can also be portrayed as a horse living Zootopia, because of the cover art for a Tangled DVD that was seen in the Zootopia film. However, her relationship with Pascal could also make her a chameleon. She could even be portrayed a bird, because of her brief bird transformation with Cassandra. Her innocent personality, on the other hand, could also make her a bunny.

Queen Elsa[]

Fans have portrayed Elsa as the first "bunny cop", Judy Hopps; with Jack, Flynn, Hans, Hiccup or Anna as Nick. She has also been cast as a female Nick Wild, for when Anna is placed as Judy. Elsa can also be portrayed as a Otter living Zootopia, because of the cover art for the second Frozen film that was seen in the Zootopia film, as well as an elephant as two little elephants were seen wearing Elsa and Anna dresses. Because Elsa has a habit of singing quite loudly and dramatically, a few fans have cast her as Gazelle, or at least a very popular singer like her that is famous in the city of Zootopia.

Princess Anna[]

Due to the shade of her hair color and the Elsanna pairings, fans portray her as a Nick Wild. She has also been cast as Officer Judy Hopps, when Elsa or Peabody is placed as Nick. Anna can also be portrayed as a Otter living Zootopia, because of the cover art for the second Frozen film that is seen in the Zootopia film, as well as an elephant as two little elephants were seen wearing Anna and Elsa dresses.

Flynn Rider[]

Flynn is cast as Nick Wilde for Eugunzel and Eugelsa pairings and for both characters being former criminals that change their ways and left their old lives behind after they met and spend time with people that understood them. Flynn can even be fox that is living in the city of Zootopia.

Wreck-It Ralph[]

Because of the DVD art cover for Wreck-It Ralph that is seen in the Zootopia film, Ralph can be placed as a Rhino living in Zootopia.

Baymax[]

Because of the DVD art cover for Big Hero 6 that is seen in the Zootopia film (and switching the B for a P), Baymax can be placed as a robotic or a normal, white pig living in Zootopia. Even when Baymax is seen as a pig, the other members of Big Hero 6 are seen a multiple animals that suit them. Baymax is also seen as a panda bear, polar bear and as a white dog.

Moana Waialiki[]

Because of the DVD art cover for Moana that is seen in the Zootopia film, Moana can be placed as a cat living in Zootopia. While her connection with the ocean could have her as one of the water related Zootopia animals, like an otter or a hippo.

Prince Hans[]

Hans is commonly seen as the con-artist fox, Nick Wilde, for the Hanna and Helsa pairings. Since Hans had tricked both Anna and Elsa into trusting him so he could gain a chance to take the throne of Arendelle, just as Nick had tricked Judy into helping him get the jumbo pop.

E. Aster Bunnymund[]

Due to Bunnymund being a rabbit, with human-like behavior, he can easily be placed as one of the rabbits that reside in Bunnyburrow or the city of Zootopia.

Mr. Peabody[]

Due to Peabody being a dog that acts and speaks like a human, along with wearing glasses and a bowtie (as well as other type and style of clothing that he wears for the places he time travels to with Sherman), he can easily be placed as of on the many animals that reside in the city of Zootopia. Like a white furred wolf, or any other type of animal from the dog/canine family.

Fans have also cast him as Nick Wild, for the Peanna pairing.

Sven[]

Fans have Sven as one of the dears that exist in the world of Zootopia. Since he helps Kristoff with his ice believers, the Tundratown district of the city can be where he resides in and calls home.

The Duke of Weselton[]

Due to the miss saying of his country's name and were both voiced by Alan Tudyk, fans like to portray him as Duke Weaselton, for a laugh. He could also be placed as a Weasel (or any other kind of animal) living in the city of Zootopia.

Di Amara[]

Since Di (living as her creator Liv Amara) acted like a caring person that people could trust, while secretly developing technology that causes people to act savage, can easily portray Di as Bellwether.
