The Last of Us AU is an AU (Alternate Universe) within the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom. In the AU, Hiccup, Merida, Rapunzel and Jack Frost are portrayed as characters from The Last of Us video game. This could also be a sub-scenario for Walking Dead AU and Arcade AU.

About this AUEdit

Spawning from fanart, this AU places the Big Four, and other such characters in the fandom, as characters from The Last of Us; along with being placed in its apocalyptic world.

Featured CharactersEdit

The Big FourEdit

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock IIIEdit

Getting himself out of sticky situations, facing danger and deadly foes and having his fair share of loss, casts him as Joel. Hiccup can also be cast as Riley Abel or Sam, when Jack is Ellie.

Jack FrostEdit

Jack's history of being on his own for a long time and having a ruff time connecting to someone that is older than him, can cast him as a male Ellie, with Pitch, North or Bunnymund as Joel. An older version of Jack can even be cast as Joel, while Jamie (or any other child in the fandom) is featured as Ellie.

Merida DunBrochEdit

Merida is seen as Ellie, as the two are shown to have skills that are similar to each others. Like archery and horse back riding, along with preferring to make and choose their own choice. Her bow can be used as one of the bows featured in the game.

Rapunzel CoronaEdit

Being able to heal people with her hair, casts Rapunzel as Ellie, a girl that is immured to a virus that is turning people into zombie-like beings and could have a cure for them in her.

Extra CharactersEdit

Pitch BlackEdit

Losing his child, isolating himself from his past and doing a lot of "bad things" in the broken and dying world, can cast him as Joel, with Jack or Katherine as Ellie. Fans have also cast Pitch as David, for making Jack believe that he could trust him before Pitch realizes that he wouldn't believe or trust any word he tells him.

Astrid HoffersonEdit

Being skilled with many weapons, fast on her feet, has a strong spirit, knocks sense into people and facing many dangers, casts Astrid as Ellie. She can even be place as one of the many children being raised in the apocalyptic world of the Last of Us, living in one of the military schools for orphans or joining a group that are fighting to save the world or are trying to live a normal life again, like Tommy's group.

E. Aster BunnymundEdit

Fans see (a human) Bunny as Joel, when Jack is Ellie and Sophie as Sera. He can also be placed as Bill, from the way he first reacted to Jack joining the Guardians and how Bill treated Ellie.

Nicholas St. NorthEdit

The father and son like bond that North shares with Jack can portray him as Joel, while Jack serves as a male Ellie. North can even be given the role of Bill, when a human version of one of his Yetis is placed as Frank.

Wreck-It RalphEdit

Ralph is commonly seen as Joel, with Vanellope as Ellie. As they share a similar bond and story that led to it. Ralph's role as Joel and Vanellope being placed as Ellie, can even have Felix portrayed as Tommy (for he and Ralph being partners in their home game) and Sergeant Calhoun as either Tess or Maria.

Vanellope von SchweetzEdit

Vanellope is commonly seen as Ellie, when Ralph is Joel. As they share a similar bond and story that led to it.

Hiro HamadaEdit

Fans have cast Hiro as a male Ellie, when Tadashi is Joel. He can also be cast as Sam with his brother as Henry.

Tadashi HamadaEdit

Fans have cast Tadashi as Joel, when Hiro is a male Ellie. He can also be cast as Henry with his brother as Sam.

Penny ForresterEdit

Due to the style of Penny's clothing, the shade of her hair and the skills she uses in the world of the Bolt TV show, she can be cast as Ellie. While her surviving skills (in the TV show) can place her as one of the many children being raised in the apocalyptic world of the Last of Us, living in one of the military schools for orphans or joining a group that is fighting to save the world or are trying to live a normal life, like Tommy's group.

Hero's Duty TroopsEdit

Because of their choice in weaponry and fighting "monsters", can place them and their sergeant as soldiers of the military or as armed members of a group of survivors.
