Inside Out AU is an alternate universe usually within Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons universe. In this AU, the characters of the Big Four portray the characters of as the emotions or human characters from Inside Out.

This AU was created when a fan thought that the characters of Inside Out fit the Big Four, and other such characters in the fandom.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III[]
Hiccup is very jumpy at times in his films, leading people usually portray him as Fear. However some people portray him as Anger for his cynical attitude.
Jack Frost[]
Jack Frost is usually portrayed as Anger. Instead of fire he shoots ice out of his head when really mad. Sometimes he is portrayed as Fear because he is sometimes jumpy. While his center being fun can also have him as a male version of Joy.
Merida DunBroch[]
Merida is usually portrayed as Riley Andersen because of her personality. But sometimes she is portrayed as Disgust or Anger for her temper, passionate attitude and red hair.
Rapunzel Corona[]
Rapunzel is usually portrayed as Joy because of her bright personality and her glowing hair. Sometimes people portray her as Disgust or Sadness. Other times she is portrayed as Riley Andersen.

This also because of Anna being portrayed as Joy and in Inside Out, Joy and Sadness bond similarly like how Elsa and Anna bond in Frozen. She is also portrayed as Riley Andersen. There have also been fans that have placed Elsa as Joy, Fear or as Disgust.

Anna is usually portrayed as Joy because of her bright personality and her bond with Elsa (Sadness), she can also be portrayed as Riley Andersen. She is sometimes portrayed as Anger and Disgust for fun.
Wreck-It Ralph[]
Ralph is usually portrayed as Anger because of his short temper and how his actions react to his rage, when it gets the better of him.
Hiro Hamada[]
Fans have Hiro as a male Sadness, due to him mourning the loss of his brother and passably for the color of his blue hoodie, and as Anger, from how he reacted when he learned what Callahan thought of Tadashi's final actions and how he had left him to die in the fire he started. He can also be cast as a male Riley Andersen.

Fans have cast Hans between Anger and as a male Disgust.

Fans commonly have Flynn as Fear, as the mode poison in the Tangled TV series had caused him to be low on confidence and to be nervously concerned about almost anything.

Fans have cast Olaf as Fear and a male Sadness for fun. He could even be cast as Bing Bong, as he was like an imaginary friend that young Elsa and Anna can build from snow and is a symbol of the happiness from their childhood.
