|Title||Guardian Stone, Moon Stone|
|Film||Rise of the Guardians (2012)|
|Current Location||North's Workshop|
|Current Owners||Nicholas St. North|
The Guardian stone is a massive crystal set in a porous stone block on top of a wooden pedestal. Normally hidden below the floor of the Globe Room in North's Workshop, it emerges when a new Guardian is chosen, and shines bluish-white as it catches the moonlight and shines it out around.
The Guardian Stone is only used when the Man in the Moon is choosing a new guardian. The gem uses moonlight (from MiM) to refract the light and created a spectrum of the new Guardian.
The Guardians were supersized to see the stone and were exited to know who will be the newest member: the member that can help them to stop Pitch Black. Bunnymund wasn't happy of the idea of Jack Frost becoming a Guardian as the stone showed an image of the trouble making Winter Spirit, but North trusts in MiM's choice and he knew that MiM wouldn't of chosen Jack if he didn't think or believe that he could help them.
Role in the CrossoverEdit
The stone is what showed Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, Merida DunBroch and Rapunzel Corona to Jack, before the four became a team. It is also used to show the guardians their allies in the fandom (along with those who are placed and cast in the Seasons Guardians AU).
It is possible that the gem and the Moonstone are connected or come from the same stone; as they both need moonlight to revile their true power.
